Purpose:
Assist the Professional development of artists, promote the awareness of the value of
the arts through services and programs
Plan:
Providing Arts Opportunities to our residents is key to our mission. At the same time, each opportunity that is well advertised and attended establishes the relevancy of the TCAC. Each of the programs listed in Arts Opportunities is detailed in subsequent sections of this grant.
The Art Cruise continues to be a key opportunity for the Arts Council to provide emerging artists exposure and experience in displaying their work.
Artists that wish to pursue art as a profession require a professional portfolio and a strategy for reaching their market. We have assisted more than 30 artists develop marketing strategies and portfolios. Our new website and the Artist Registry are becoming valued resources in exchanging ideas and laws affecting the sale of art.

Art Reach
Artists from the project ARTREACH would like to brighten up your day by bringing crafts projects to your home. No cost to you. The only requirement is that you want us to come.
The Trinity County Arts Council has an assembly of artists who would like to share their crafts. Some crafts projects can be completed in an hour, others can take up to 3 visits to complete. Participants get to choose what crafts they would like to explore and arrange a date for the crafts person to bring the experience to them. | View Page |

Artist Registry
Jewelers, Ceramicists, Painters, Textile Artists, Glass Artists creating original works with fused glass, blown glass,and lampwork, Wood carvers and furniture makers, Sculptors, and artists inventing with Mixed Media, Literary artists and Muscians provide a cacauphony of texture,color, and joy to Trinity County. The Artist Registry is a means to achieve visibility and share your art with Art Galleries, Art Organizations, and Art Exhibition Venues through out California and Oregon.

Workshops
The Trinity County Arts Council strives to offer Art Education Opportunities to artists who are interested in building their skills or learning new art processes.
